Turner Industries Group is looking for a Construction Manager to join our team in Kingsport TN. The Construction Manager will provide overall administrative and technical direction for one large complex project. Depending on current project backlog manager may direct several small and/or medium size projects through subordinate managers. Must have previous experience running 500 - 1000 man job.

General Job Description:

• Oversee total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives A/E representatives union officials subcontractors security etc.
• Plan coordinate and/or supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned project(s).
• Authorize/approve all project personnel transactions (hiring transfers wages etc.) purchase requisitions change requests etc.
• On union projects may assist in jurisdictional disputes and negotiations as required.
• Ensure all company client and project policies procedures standards etc. are adhered to. Interpret policies as required.
• Maintain official project log and documentation files.
• Assist with implementation/interpretation of safety programs.
• Provide direction to planning scheduling and engineering functions as required.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisors direction.

Essential Qualifications:

• Educational and experience requirements include: 10-15 years supervisory or equivalent experience in similar type facility construction.
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology equipment methods negotiations)
• Excellent communication organizational supervisory and planning skills required.

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
