ResponsibilitiesRoles & Responsibilities:
- Assists in staffing in order to ensure appropriate levels of staff for quality care
- Communicates staffing needs to appropriate Managers Supervisors and patient care units
- Prints and updates staffing boards
- Assigns nursing staff according to staffing needs
- Performs receptionist duties and screens all personnel and visitors
- Performs receptionist duties and screens all personnel and visitors.
- Records absence from duty of nursing personnel and reports information to appropriate unit.
- Calls staff for reassignment or overtime; notifies and records appropriately; Assigns supplemental staff.
- Directs Supplemental Staff to units validates sign in & out of supplemental staff
- Data Entry
- Provide clericalsupport to Director
QualificationsRequirements:
- High School diploma/GED required; some college preferred
- Two years clerical experience preferably in health care setting
- Staffing experience preferred
