Job Description
Self-Direction DSP - Hastings NY (Job# RD/FC)
Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Hastings NY area with a young man who requires assistance due to an intellectual disability. The individual is looking for a dedicated staff to provide him with support and assist him with maintaining his independence both at home and in community settings. Responsibilities include but are not limited to supervision at home accompanying him during community outings supporting him with health and safety needs and providing transportation as needed.
We are looking for individuals who are reliable patient and enthusiastic. Prior experience a plus. Reliable transportation and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
Work hours include Monday through Friday 3 pm - 8 pm and occasional hours on weekends and holidays as needed. Flexibility to fill-in for other staff a plus. The pay rate is $22 per hour. EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
