Job Description

JOB SUMMARYSizer School located in Fitchburg MA is accepting applications for ESports Coach. Ideal candidates shall have at least 3 years experience in the high school sport as an assistant or head coach. The Esports Coach is responsible for leading and developing the schools competitive gaming program. This includes training student-athletes organizing team practices promoting teamwork and sportsmanship. The coach will also serve as a mentor fostering a positive and inclusive environment for students. Must demonstrate a high degree of ethics professionalism and be a positive role model for all and manage esports teams in gamesDevelop practice plans strategies and game reviews to improve individual and team performanceOrganize and supervise team practices scrimmages and matchesPromote a culture of respect responsibility and digital citizenshipCoordinate with the school administration / Athletic Director regarding scheduling equipment and team logisticsEnsure compliance with school and league rules and regulationsQualifications:Knowledge of competitive gaming and major esports titlesStrong communication leadership and organizational skillsExperience working with high school students preferredAbility to foster a positive and inclusive team environment
