The Opportunity
This newly created role of Governance Lead reports directly to the Program Director within the Major Projects this critical position you will lead the design and delivery of a comprehensive governance framework for a high-impact strategic project involving the future strategic direction of Monash University Malaysia Campus.
As the Governance Lead for this project you will be responsible for embedding governance structures policies reporting mechanisms and decision-making processes to ensure effective oversight risk management compliance stakeholder alignment and successful project addition you will identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders in the Projects governance process as well as provide expert governance support and advice across various Committees and Boards.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven ability to manage corporate governance compliance and related functions in a complex environment as well as interpret and analyse a broad range of legislation and legal precedent
- Complete integrity in all aspects of work and the ability to exercise sound judgement in advising senior staff on sensitive issues and confidential matters
- Excellent consulting and stakeholder management skills with the demonstrated ability to develop strategic relationships and collaborate influence and negotiate at all levels within and external to the University
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to produce clear and succinct reports presentations correspondence briefings and other relevant documentation
