As the Senior Engineering Manager Ad Tech & Privacy you will lead the engineering strategy and execution for Dow Joness advertising and privacy systems. Reporting to a senior technology leader you will manage a team focused on maintaining our ad tech stack innovating new formats and ensuring ongoing compliance with global privacy regulations. You will work closely with Product Legal and external vendors to shape the future of advertising at Dow Jones.
Oversee and maintain our current Ad Tech & Privacy systems ensuring performance reliability and compliance.
Collaborate with Product to define and deliver roadmaps that drive innovation in ad formats for direct and programmatic revenue.
Lead and grow a team of engineers focused on privacy-compliant advertising solutions.
10 years of experience in software engineering including 3 years in a management or leadership role.
Proven experience with ad tech systems such as ad servers SSPs DSPs and header bidding.
Experience integrating and maintaining privacy compliance tools (e.g. CMPs identity frameworks data protection APIs).
A track record of delivering scalable systems in media publishing or advertising-focused organizations.
Experience with both client-side and server-side ad delivery methods is a plus.
An undergraduate degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field is preferred.
