Job Title: Automotive Painter
Position: Full-time commission
Location: Phoenix AZ
Start Date: ASAP

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Painter to join our collision repair team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail a strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for preparing painting and finishing repaired vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles for paint including sanding masking priming and taping.
- Mix and match paint colors to factory specifications.
- Apply paint using spray guns and other tools with precision and consistency.
- Read and interpret repair estimates and work orders accurately.
- Ensure a high-quality finish that meets dealership and customer standards.
- Maintain a clean organized work area and properly store materials and tools.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and environmental procedures.
- Communicate clearly with team members and leadership to meet deadlines.
- Perform quality checks before and after paint application.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an automotive painter in a body shop or collision repair setting.
- Ability to read and understand repair estimates and work orders.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering top-quality results.
- Familiarity with paint mixing systems and refinishing equipment.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental standards.
- Certifications (I-CAR ASE PPG etc.) are a plus but not required.
