OPWDD CHOICES
CHOICES is currently running on a highly customized version of MS Dynamics 365 (cloud-based) and utilizes a BizTalk application to receive a large volume of updates. This position involves monitoring/troubleshooting developing bug fixes and enhancements and upgrading or re-architecting various applications that include or interact with CHOICES.
Day to Day Tasks
- Maintenance and bug fixing for the MS BizTalk application instances.
- Monitoring Biztalk traffic and ensuring it reaches the correct destination.
- Monitoring BizTalk servers for errors and performance issues and working with other teams or Microsoft support to fix issues.
- Modifying Pipelines Orchestrations Mappings Schemas and other
- .NET code to accommodate changes to data BizTalk receives and transmits.
- Evaluating potential replacements and implementing proof of concepts for BizTalk before BizTalk server reaches end of life.
- Resolving production problems and business unit inquiries including Help Desk tickets.
Mandatory Qualifications
Software Architect - Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards including software coding standards tools and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system.
- 60 - 84 months: Candidate is able to work independently without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.
Requested Qualifications
- 60 months of experience in analysis design development deployment and troubleshooting of BizTalk integration solutions for enterprise-level applications using WCF and web services (SOA).
- 60 months of experience monitoring BizTalk traffic identifying application and performance issues and configuring and turning Biztalk to resolve issues.
- 60 months of experience designing and developing high performance enterprise-level web application systems using and external web services in a .NET/IIS environment.
- 60 months of experience designing/developing/securing (not just consuming) SOAP and REST external web services including experience designing/developing external web services with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Web API.
- 36 months of experience developing and -based applications that integrate with -based applications.
