Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and source materials equipment and services required for construction projects.
Evaluate suppliers based on price quality service support availability reliability and production and distribution capabilities.
Negotiate with vendors for cost-effective purchasing agreements and long-term supply contracts.
Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Coordinate with the project team to determine material specifications and delivery schedules.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet construction timelines.
Maintain a database of approved suppliers and vendors.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess.
Evaluate supplier performance and recommend changes as needed.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
Work closely with engineering and site teams to ensure technical requirements are met.
Resolve any issues related to quality delivery or pricing disputes.
Requirements
B.E. Civil. / Dip. in Civil.- Age: up to 45 Years.- Minimum 14 Yrs experience in Constructions / Civil field.- BOQ Preparation skills.- Vendor analyzing and negotiation skills.- Civil products purchasing skills.- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing skills.- Quality of Purchased Products analyzing skills.- Tamil Fluency must.- Ms-Office ERP skills.
