How you make an impact As a Shipping Receiving & Materials Specialist youll be a key player in our onsite warehousing operations. Youll ensure the safe compliant and efficient handling of materialsincluding radioactive productswhile supporting production teams and maintaining inventory integrity. What you will achieve - Manage the shipment and receipt of hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
- Collaborate with engineers lab technicians and service providers to coordinate logistics.
- Track and update the status of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Generate and apply shipping documentation labels and safety protocols.
- Ensure accurate inventory control and storage of components and raw materials.
- Support internal customers and resolve logistics issues with professionalism.
- Maintain compliance with cGMP safety and transport regulations.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean organized and audit-ready warehouse environment.
What you need to succeed - High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 years experience with document control experience in the shipping/receiving warehouse industry.
- Experience with electronic document inventory system preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with hazardous/non-hazardous labeling standards and practices.
- Trained forklift operator.
- Valid drivers license with clean MVR record
Great to have - Associates degree in business or equivalent combination of work experience.
- Experience with radioactive materials.
- 5 years experience with document control experience in the shipping/receiving warehouse industry.
- DOT Training
Other Things to Note.. - Full-time On-site position.
- Niowave has multiple locations within the Lansing area. Travel between locations is expected in the role. Travel to regional shipping sites may be required.
- Companys standard operating hours are Monday thru Friday 6a 6p with production related activities requiring 24/7/365 shifts.
- This position will have regular working hours during M F with an expectation of adjusting hours to operational commitments as needed.
