Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Radiographer with expertise in ultrasound imaging to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have sufficient radiography experience demonstrating proficiency in conducting diagnostic imaging procedures particularly in ultrasound and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations including X-rays CT scans MRI and other imaging procedures.
- Ensure proper patient identification positioning and safety during procedures.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for accurate interpretation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs.
- Operate and care for radiographic equipment in compliance with the manufacturers guidelines and safety standards.
- Assist radiologists and other medical personnel with procedures as required.
- Adhere to radiation protection guidelines to safeguard patients staff and self.
- Observe infection prevention and control protocols.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional ethics.
- Participate in emergency radiography services if required.
- Report equipment faults or maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Radiography or Radiologic Technology from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in diagnostic radiography with strong hands-on experience in ultrasound imaging.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ultrasound modalities and protocols.
- Ideal candidate should be a Registered Radiographer (RT) certified with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
- Candidates residing around the Alimosho axis will be considered
- Excellent communication skills expressed both in written and verbal forms
