$500 Sign on Bonus
The Association for Individual Development (AID) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower people with physical developmental intellectual mental health challenges; those who have suffered a trauma; and those at risk to enjoy lives of dignity and purpose. We are looking for aPart Time Jan Aid Crew Workerwho demonstrates this mission and wants to work for an organization that makes a difference in the community.
What you will be doing
The Jan-Aid Crew Worker performs work at an acceptable rate of speed and good quality level. Worker must follow all work and safety rules as well as applicable program and agency rules and regulations. Worker must exhibit acceptable good work behavior and work skills. Could work day or evening Crew Worker is responsible for completing work that is assigned by Crew Lead.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Perform work at acceptable quality levels and performance levels
- Follow all work and safety rules
- Model acceptable work behaviors and skills
- Follow all instruction and corrections
- Follow AID code of ethics regarding co-workers and AID.
- Transports self to Jan-Aid office for work.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by Program Manager
- Promote cost saving and efficient ideas/tasks for the Prog
What will we provide Part Time employees.
$500 sign on bonus for part-time
12.5 Days of Paid Time Off prorated based on hours worked plus 10 Paid Holidays
Paid training
Tuition reimbursement
401K with a 3.5% company contribution after one year if you work 1000 hours annually.
Qualifications
What will you bring to the table
Education: High school or equivalent
Experience:Work experience or interest in cleaning required.
Physical:
- Ability to lift equipment and garbage up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work 5 hours daily
- No physical restrictions
Equipment:
- Equipment knowledge to meet general cleaning duties
- Vacuum
- Wet/dry vac
- Using a phone
- Using voice mail
Additional Requirements:
- Flexibility to work evenings and as needed weekend hours.
- Utilize computer-based software. Paycom or Relias.
- Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills.
- Use Paycom or Relias as required.
