Duties
Are you Wilders next mental health provider Join our multidisciplinary Community Mental Health & Wellness team at Wilder in providing clinical service delivery that supports our communitys mental wellness critical to Wilders mission of improving lives today and for generations to come!
We have an opening for a full-time individual/family therapist position within Wilders Therapeutic Teaching Model (TTM) program. TTM is an intensive school based mental health treatment program that infuses therapy into the classroom for the youngest elementary students in a Level IV special education setting. TTM was developed to decrease the time students need intensive special education services by increasing the students ability to regulate. We approach our work with creativity and a commitment to supporting each child and family knowing healing is possible.
Wilder is a first-implementer Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). As part of this innovative model of mental health care we collaborate closely with other service partners in ensuring coordinated integrated care for clients and their families.
As a Mental Health Professional/Practitioner you will provide individual and family mental health treatment in school home community and virtual settings. You will also conduct assessments develop treatment plans and complete progress notes. Finally you will influence the treatment goals and methods of the therapeutic classroom through weekly consultation.
MA Level MH Practitioner: $55K - $65K
MA Lic MH Professional: $70K - $80K
Job Qualifications
Those applying must have a Masters degree in social work marriage and family therapy psychology or clinical counseling. A Mental Health Professional (LICSW LMFT or LPCC) license is preferred but Masters Level Practitioners (Clinical Trainees) working towards licensure are encouraged to apply.
A strong understanding of child development and the importance of family work is imperative. A passion for serving individuals and families in our community and in providing trauma informed mental health treatment is paramount.
Helpful if trained in DC: 0-5 evaluations Child Parent Psychotherapy Experiential Play Therapy and/or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Experience working with schools or day treatment/residential milieus is valued.
