Job Description
Sports Direct is seeking an enthusiastic Casual Sales Assistant to join our team in Oxford United Kingdom. As a key member of our retail staff you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Offer expert advice on our range of sports equipment and apparel
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and well-organised sales floor
- Assist with visual merchandising and stock replenishment
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets
- Participate in regular product knowledge training sessions
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications :
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Strong communication abilities both verbal and written
- Basic numeracy skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Keen interest in sports and fitness with knowledge of current trends
- Ability to work flexibly including evenings and weekends
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous retail experience is desirable but not essential
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
