Software Engineer (Golang) - Supply Chain (Quick Commerce)

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Software Developer with 3  years of experience to join our team. Youll be instrumental in developing and enhancing our Supply Chain Master Data products including the Supplier Portal which plays a critical role in Q-commerce supply chain operation. This is a hybrid role that combines the flexibility of partial remote work with the collaboration of on-site team interactions (2 days per week in the office in Berlin). By innovating within our Quick Commerce Team youll make Delivery Hero the go-to platform for a broad range of products helping us grow faster and deliver more value to customers around the world.

• Collaborate with team members to design develop and maintain robust software solutions.

• Develop and maintain REST APIs contribute to microservices architecture and explore gRPC and GraphQL.

• Write efficient well-structured and well-documented code.

• Debug and troubleshoot software to ensure high performance and reliability.

• Design and optimize database schemas and write SQL queries.

• Leverage cloud platforms like Google Cloud or Amazon AWS; experience with Infrastructure as Code is a plus.

• Write and maintain clear documentation for codebases systems and workflows.

• Participate in SCRUM-based development processes including stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives.

Qualifications :

• Experience: 3 years in software development.

• Programming Skills: At least 1 year of hands-on Golang experience.

• Data Structures and Algorithms: Strong foundational understanding.

• API Development: Familiarity with REST API design principles and building.

• Databases: Knowledge of SQL and database schema design principles.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Documentation: Ability to create clear and concise documentation.

• Debugging: Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting code.

• Collaboration: Experience working in a collaborative environment with SCRUM or Agile methodologies.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with Google Cloud or Amazon AWS; Infrastructure as Code.

• API Development: Work with gRPC.
