Adjunct Instructor Graphic Design
Location: Day Campus; Columbia MO

Pay: $2150 to $2350 per 16 week course (Pay range may vary based on geographic location)

Description:
The Department of Visual Arts & Music at Columbia College Missouri Day Campus seeks an Adjunct (part-time) instructor to teach Graphic Design I and Graphic Design II/III courses in the Fall 25 with possible renewal in Spring 26 for Typography Wed Design I and Corporate Identity.
Columbia College is known for its small class sizes which enrich teaching and mentoring experiences. The successful candidate will join faculty and staff committed to innovative student-centered pedagogy at a liberal arts and sciences teaching institution located in Columbia MO one of Americas most livable small cities. The Department of Visual Arts and Music currently has six other full-time faculty. This position will support students pursuing degrees in the BA in Graphic Design BA in Art and the Bachelor of Fine Arts.
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include a masters degree in the discipline or 18 semester/27 quarter hours of graduate work in the discipline or an undergraduate degree with a minimum of three years demonstrated relevant professional experience. Exceptions may be considered with approval of the dean. The position requires an ability to effectively teach undergraduate courses a commitment to student-centered learning excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a willingness to use various instructional technologies.
