Job Summary:
SPL is growing and is currently looking for an I & E Technician II in Greeley CO. The I & E Technician II must be team oriented proactive and goal driven. This position is responsible for installation and maintenance of I & E systems while maintaining safety compliance and applicable codes of standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install conduit pull electrical wire and cable;
- Tubing fitting and installation;
- Installation and testing of instrumentation automation and pneumatic devices;
- Maintenance of tools and equipment;
- Troubleshooting process systems;
- Operate low-voltage electrical systems;
- Ensure RTUs EFMs radios motor controls pneumatic controls AC/DC controls instrumentation and various communication protocols are installed properly;
- Job and ticketing creation and tracking;
- Complete all assigned tasks under limited supervision;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Candidate must be mechanically inclined;
- Requires previous experience with typical hand tools and power tools;
- Must have an Apprentice Electricians license;
- Intermediate knowledge of measurement and production systems;
- Must be proficient with and able to perform all I&E Technician I primary tasks as defined by SPLs I&E Technician Skillsets and Career Path under limited supervision;
- Must be proficient in 3 ancillary tasks and 2 added value skills as defined by SPLs I&E Technician Skillsets and Career Path.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred. Applicable work experience will be considered in lieu of education.
Travel Requirements:
This position requires local travel.
Work Schedule:
This position will work 8 hours Monday-Friday in the Greeley CO SPL client field location. This position is subject to overtime availability to meet deadlines.
