Reports To: Director of Logistics
Division: Operations
Status: Part-Time hourly (15-20 hours per week)
Compensation: $15-$17/hr
DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for maintaining facilities grounds buildings and other company property. Performs general and specialized maintenance and construction work.
KEY ROLES (essential job responsibilities):
Maintains trees turf and ornamentals including mowing planting pruning fertilizing watering and pesticide application
Devise and establish maintenance policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by Club Leadership
Assists in inspecting and repairing playground equipment building structures plumbing systems electrical systems irrigation systems appliances roofing systems HVAC systems public address systems and other building systems.
Maintains preventative maintenance for buildings generators fire extinguishers emergency lighting and other systems.
Performs snow and ice removal operations on roads parking lots and sidewalks.
Identify the need for upgrades configurations or new systems and report to upper management
Build relationships with vendors and create cost-efficient contracts
Perform routine maintenance to extend life of equipment and reduce repair costs.
Aid with set up and clean-up of building activities and programs.
Assist Director of Logistics with monthly safety reporting procedures.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs work during and after regular hours any day of the week including holidays as needed. Set schedule will be established upon hire but may need to be responsive due to the needs of the weather. (example: shoveling snow on a Monday morning outside of normal schedule)

RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal:
Work closely with the Directors of Programs Unit Directors and direct supervisor to evaluate the ongoing needs and complete tasks.
External:
Develop relationships with outside vendors who may do contract work on an as needed basis.
Provide documentation as needed alongside the Director of Logistics to outside parties such the Boys & Girls Club National Safety Team or Child Care Licensing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills/Knowledge Required:
High School diploma or GED (required)
Demonstrated ability in light maintenance work
Experience in grounds maintenance
Valid State Drivers License

Driver license
Ability to lift 50 lbs
