You will be supporting the business by providing advice and guidance on the application of HR policy & operational procedure ensuring changes are managed appropriately and accurately on the system and communicated to other functions on time.
You will be acting as the first point of contact for HR Policy HR Operational procedures and process queries; working closely with wider function providing a seamless overall service.
In this role you can expect to get involved in a variety of work including:
Providing expert guidance to managers and employees in navigating employee lifecycle changes and activities including terminations job changes absences and secondments.
Ensuing effective communication of any changes with employees managers and impacted departments.
Primary contact for employees & managers on the application and interpretation of HR family leave policies and procedures (e.g. maternity adoption paternity shared parental leave) providing advice in accordance with current policies to ensure consistency accuracy and application of best practice.
Act as the point of contact for employees going on family leave and provide effective support to employees throughout the family leave process (e.g. completing regular check ins completing risk assessment creating return to work plan)
Provide operational support with intercompany transfers internal hires adaptable working arrangements fixed term contracts extensions & right to work checks and compliance.
Assist in managing international transfers and assignments by preparing and processing the necessary documentation for employees. Help with visa applications and work eligibility checks while maintaining accurate records of employee assignments. Collaborate with the Global Mobility and Tax team to make payroll and benefit adjustments related to international movements.
Assist the HR Business Partnering and Employee Relations teams by providing comprehensive support on employee relations (ER) matters. This includes managing and organising essential paperwork related to ER cases coordinating schedules for meetings and discussions and performing PENP (Performance Evaluation and Negotiated Pay) calculations to ensure accurate compensation and performance assessments.
Support the HR Business Partnering team during the annual promotion and salary review cycle by gathering and organising employee data updating records and ensuring accuracy. Maintain confidentiality in meetings and help prepare letters for approved promotion and salary adjustments.
Build good working relationships with HR Business Partnering team to better understand their needs and provide ongoing case and operational support as required.
Manage occupational health referrals in collaboration with managers and HR Advisors tracking further referrals where appropriate.
Support the wider HR Centres of Excellence in implementing and embedding new policies and people change projects and initiatives.
Directly support cyclical HR activities (promotions moderation meetings renewal windows end of holiday year & end of financial year activities).
Maintain accurate and up to date employee records SOPs and checklists; provide written and verbal reports as required. Complete weekly & monthly reconciliation of data generate payroll & employee movement reports.
Any other tasks as required.

Excellent written & oral communication skills. Able to articulate best practice HR in a practical & accessible manner both face to face & in writing.
Able to build relationships across the business based on trust respect and service delivery.
Able to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment strong organisational skills and confident managing different priorities.
CIPD membership (or equivalent experience) with commitment to complete CIPD
Experience of interpreting HR policies procedures and situations in order to identify pragmatic solutions/recommendations.
Experience of advising and supporting managers on a range of employee relations matters to an appropriate conclusion.
Experience of dealing with matters confidentially and sensitively with a sound knowledge of General Data Protection Regulation.
Up to date knowledge of employment legislation and best practice.
