About the Role
You will deliver engaging and innovative teaching across our Criminology and Forensic Science programmes supporting learners aged 16. Youll play a key role in curriculum development learner support and fostering strong industry links.
What Were Looking For
Essential:
- Excellent subject knowledge in Forensic Science with a specialism in Criminology.
- Committed to learner success and able to provide supportive inclusive teaching.
- Evidence of recent CPD and a proactive approach to professional growth.
- Relevant qualification at Level 4 or above.
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards).
- GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above (or willingness to work towards).
- Recent industry/vocational experience and strong sector networks.
- Knowledge of embedding English and Maths into curriculum delivery.
- Experience supporting learners with external work placements.
- Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities.
Desirable:
- Experience teaching 16 and/or Higher Education.
- Experience working with external agencies and employers.
- Assessor/Verifier awards (or willingness to work towards).
- Subject specialist qualification at Level 5 or above.
- Ability to analyse and interpret learner data.
- Experience showcasing learner work and achievements.
