Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Media & Stakeholder Intelligence: Research and analyze developments in the defense and public affairs landscapeincluding stakeholder activity media coverage geopolitical risk and institutional strategy.
- Daily Report Quality Control: Own the editorial and analytical quality of daily dashboards and intelligence briefs ensuring each report meets Clipbooks standards of clarity accuracy and strategic insight.
- Client Alignment & Feedback Loop: Act as a trusted point of contact for client feedback; refine reporting strategy to ensure alignment with stakeholder goals and evolving information needs.
- Process & Delivery Optimization: Contribute to the development of new workflows and tools that improve reporting engagement and customer impact.
- Security-Driven Research: Ensure all research is conducted in compliance with relevant classification security and confidentiality requirements.
- High-Priority Assignments: Step up to lead or support fast-evolving projects briefings or client requests across defense advocacy and government portfolios.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Political Science Intelligence Studies Public Affairs Communications or a related fields
- Experience in research intelligence media analysis or stakeholder reportingpreferably in a defense public affairs or high-security context.
- Proven experience producing professional-grade client deliverables such as media reports briefings or dashboards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information into polished insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convey clarity and strategic depth.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines while juggling multiple priorities in a high-velocity setting.
- High motivation responsiveness coachability and a drive to deliver impact.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with public affairs government or advocacy communications ecosystems.
- Prior exposure to media intelligence open-source intelligence (OSINT) or PR analytics.
- Experience working with or supporting stakeholders in the federal government private industry or defense.
- Proficiency with media monitoring tools dashboards and stakeholder tracking platforms.
