The AccuWeather Technology organization is seeking a highly motivated and technically accomplished leader to drive our middleware strategy and execution as Senior Director Technology. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building world-class service platforms system integrations and high-performing middleware systems that support mission-critical functions like billing login product catalogs push notifications and more.
Position Summary:
AccuWeather is seeking a passionate and organized Community & Operations Manager of the AccuWeather Lightning Network (AWLN) to lead the engagement support and growth of our global community of lightning sensor hosts. This role is central to the continued expansion and optimization of the AWLN - one of the only global lightning detection networks delivering high-quality lightning data and insights to save lives better protect property and enable people to make the best weather-impacted decisions.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a background in meteorology or atmospheric sciences capable of building relationships with sensor hosts coordinating logistics and supporting internal teams with lightning related expertise and materials.
This position is required to be located onsite at AccuWeathers Headquarters located in State College PA.
