OSHIIP is seeking candidates to assist the Medicare consumers of Ohio their family members and caregivers in understanding their insurance benefits and resolving their complex insurance issues. The ideal candidates will have excellent communication problem solving and organizational skills a high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to be adaptable.

What Youll Do:

Your Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Answering incoming phone calls related to Medicare Medicare Supplemental Insurance Medicare Prescription Drug benefits Medicare Advantage and other Medicare related topics.

Utilize web-based tools to compare plans and articulate information in digestible terms to consumers

Facilitate enrollment into cost-effective plans and financial assistance programs.

Make appropriate referrals to other divisions or agencies.

Document and report all consumer interactions.

Communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner.

Performs other duties as assigned.
