Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution of higher education preferably in communication public relations or a related discipline
At least two years of experience in communications public relations marketing social media or a related field
Demonstrated superior written and visual communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Omni Update
Demonstrated experience with Adobe suite namely Illustrator InDesign and Photoshop
Demonstrated experience with current web technologies including CSS HTML and JavaScript
Experience in a higher education communications setting requiring interaction with constituents across many levels
Experience working with interns and freelance staff
Demonstrated photography and videography skills or have a strong understanding of skills with the ability to capture high-quality images to create visual narratives
Experience in the management and optimization of websites social media platforms and other communication/marketing channels
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
Demonstrated ability to take initiative
Attention to detail time management and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated capacity to meet deadlines
Excellent client relation skills
High level of interpersonal oral and written communication skills
Strong technical skills including knowledge of social media networks and effective branding
Demonstrated excellent training and coaching skills
Ability to hire train and manage team of freelance and student interns/worker
Ability to develop methods to evaluate the effectiveness of overall efforts and to take corrective/sustaining action as needed
Ability to communicate accomplishments to stakeholders
