Job Description
Kepak is a global food company serving international retailers and food service household names with prime cuts of meat on-trend food concepts and ready-for-market convenience foods.
Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfilhas combined beef and lamb processing and packing facilities. We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers counters to branded packaged meat all as part of our service; raised on open pastures sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.
We are looking to recruit for a Trainee Butcher for our Lamb and Beef Department. This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday on 12.40 per hour.

Join our Beef/Lamb Boning Departments at KEPAK Merthyr where youll start with a competitive wage of 12.40 per hour during your training. Once fully qualified your earning potential could exceed 38000 annually!
Your journey begins with a comprehensive 12-week training program supervised by our departmental trainer. Throughout this period youll learn a variety of tasks honing your skills to meet our high standards. Youll also be paired with experienced butchers on the production line to help you acclimate to the fast-paced environment get to know the team and build your confidence in the tasks at hand.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop and learn new skills from de-boning to cutting and trimming. After your training youll have the chance to rotate through various roles and become a versatile butcher.
