Job Description
Farmers Edge is a global leader in agricultural technology and soil testing solutions. Our advanced soil laboratory services deliver precise data-driven insights to enhance sustainability maximize profitability and minimize risk.
As a Soil Sampler you will travel across your assigned region and use GPS equipment and specialized company-provided vehicles to collect soil samples from our customers fields to be analyzed for a Farmers Edge laboratory. What youll be doing:
- Travel to assigned rural locations to take core soil samples from growers fields
- Ensure quality control and accurate recording of sample data
- Regularly communicate with leadership to discuss field conditions
- Sampling database administration and maintenance
- Safe operation of motorized vehicles and specialized sampling equipment
What youll need to be successful:
- Valid drivers license* for designated province/state of employment;
- Some agricultural experience would be an asset;
- Ability to carry up to 20 kg;
- Ability to travel often to rural areas
- Availability to work a combination of days evenings and/or weekends
