Description
Perform tasks involving physical labor including operation of a fabrication equipment including drill press stud welder shear and plasma cutter. Working independently while performing repetitive tasks is common.
Essential Functions
- Read mechanical drawings to drill holes into steel plates
- Read project cut sheet and cut pieces using shear or plasma cutter
- Operate stud welder to create weld plates
- Paint weld plates so they dont rust
- Operate a forklift with boom to move inventory and to prepare pieces to ship to job sites
- Operate overhead hoist to lift and move pieces
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.
- Ability to read and follow directions on blueprints and drawings.
- Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
- Work full-time Monday through Friday with the possibility of overtime hours
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Contribute to company morale and group commitment to goals
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment materials and supplies
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
- Ability to work independently or as a team player to complete daily activities according to work schedule.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds carry up to 100 pounds push up to 100 pounds and pull up to 50 pounds
-Ability to reach up to 7 feet regularly - Ability to bend at waist or in a kneeling position for extended periods of time.
- Good manual dexterity (hand hand with arm two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
- Excellent stamina is required.
- Work is indoors and outdoors. Candidate must be able to work in heat cold noise and dust
