About the Role:We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing analytics team. The ideal candidate has a passion for data a solid analytical mindset and foundational skills in programming and statistics. You will work closely with senior team members to gather clean analyze and visualize data to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Collect clean and organize data from various sources (databases APIs CSVs etc.)
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns trends and anomalies
- Assist in building and maintaining reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Create simple data visualizations to support reports and presentations
- Support senior analysts or data scientists in designing and testing predictive models
- Document processes and contribute to the development of data pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering marketing product) to understand data needs
- Work under guidance to help answer business questions using data
- Document your work and follow best practices in data handling
- Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics
- provide mentorship and training to foster skill development within the team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Bachelors degree in data science Statistics Computer Science Mathematics Economics or a related field
- Proficiency in Excel Python or R for data analysis
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying relational databases.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau Power BI or matplotlib/seaborn
- Understanding of basic statistical concepts and data modeling and machine learning concepts
- Internship or academic project experience in data analysis or data science
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure)
- Experience with version control (e.g. Git)
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and communication skills with a bias for action
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced data-driven environment
- Good project management experience including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives across teams.
- Good communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide clear reporting to senior management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment demonstrating resilience and adaptability in a constantly evolving network landscape.
