Job Description
The Maintenance Tech II performs installation repair and maintenance functions on hospital
equipment and facilities.
-Performs preventative maintenance as directed.
-Makes repairs using required tools.
-Assembles and disassembles equipment.
-Installs repair and removal of electrical circuits.
-Maintains the operation of the plumbing system and installs plumbing required in new areas or for new
equipment.
-Makes repairs to the structure walls or ceilings of hospital buildings.
-Removes or constructs walls or partitions doors or cabinets.
-Uses caution in working with power tools electricity or in close proximity to power equipment that
could cause serious injury.
-Demolishes walls where required.
-Removes cabinetry as required.
-Builds walls according to blueprints drawing and specifications.
-Installs drop ceilings replaces ceiling tiles as needed.
-Establishes radio contact with PBX/EMS dispatch.
-Adheres to and follows all patient experience initiatives.
-Reports to and departs from work on time and as scheduled.
-Performs other duties as assigned.
-Must be able to deal with stress while maintaining composure.
-Follows and adheres to TRMC vaccine policy(s) mandated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid
Services (CMS).
-Five years experience as a mechanic preferred.
-High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
-Trade school or technical courses in maintenance and repair preferred.
