Job Summary:
The Provider Relations Assistant plays a key role in supporting the coordination and communication between healthcare providers and internal teams. This position ensures accurate scheduling provider data management and timely responses to provider-related inquiries while contributing to the smooth operation of the department. The salary for this position is $19 an hour.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage provider schedules including daily audits cancellations and weekly distribution of schedules.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for provider communications via phone and email ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Maintain department records and spreadsheets including accurate entry of provider time in WATS and payroll systems.
  • Facilitate provider travel arrangements and monitor the provider relations inbox for timely responses.
  • Support the development and implementation of company-wide Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs).
  • Assist the Scheduling Operations Manager with special projects and perform additional administrative tasks as needed including occasional overtime.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of one year of clerical or administrative experience
  • Prior experience in scheduling or provider relations preferred
