Machinist / Mechanical Builder Hands-On Precision Assembly

This is a full-time on-site position with regular hours and a strong team atmosphere. No hopping from site to site - just steady hands-on work building systems that power some of the most advanced equipment in the industry.
Build and assemble precision mechanical components for industrial automation systems
Operate manual machine tools (drill press grinder saw etc.) to modify or fabricate parts as needed
Read and interpret mechanical drawings exploded diagrams and technical instructions
Fit align and secure components using hand tools and torque specs
Perform functional checks on completed assemblies to ensure quality and performance
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on continuous improvements and best practices
Maintain a clean organized work area and follow all safety protocols
Hands-on mechanical ability whether from machining auto repair or assembly backgrounds
Experience using hand tools power tools and shop equipment
Ability to read mechanical blueprints or exploded diagrams
Attention to detail and pride in high-quality craftsmanship
A problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in light machining or fabrication
Background in mechanical assembly auto/motorcycle repair or machine building
Familiarity with pneumatic systems fasteners or shop safety practices
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
Previous work in custom or small-batch manufacturing environments
A hands-on technician who wants to work on real physical systems
Tired of field service or travel and looking to work on a stable shop floor
