The Waldorf Hilton London is an iconic & historic London hotel built in the late 1800 located in Aldwych.
The hotel features 298 Guest Rooms including 19 suites. Blending Edwardian Du Siecle with modern comfort. Our hotel sits in the center of Londons glitzy theatre district just a few minutes walk from Covent Garden The Royal Opera House and Trafalgar Square.
Homages restaurant and Dcor pays tribute to the Grand Cafs of Europe Renaissance offering a high standard of Modern British Food. Good Godfreys bar & Lounge offers crafty & cosmopolitan cocktails as well as canaps and light bites.
Salary 14.40 an hour Service charge/Tronc (39 Hours a week Overtime Time and half)

What will I be doing
A Pastry Chef de Partie will run their station and ensure high levels of food preparation to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Ensure all food preparation meets standards
- Prepare and present high quality food
- Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination
- Prepare all mise-en-place for all relevant menus
- Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
- Assist the Pastry Head Chef/Sous Chef in the training of all staff in compliance of company procedures
What are we looking for
A Pastry Chef de Partie serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you should maintain the attitude behaviours skills and values that follow:
- A minimum of 2 years of previous experience as a Pastry Chef.
- Excellent communication skills
- NVQ Level 2/3
- Achieved Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Supervisory experience
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work on own or in teams
