Summary
The VCU Department of Radiation Sciences seeks a certified sonographer to teach an open lab on Fridays from 8am-4pm. The candidate will provide instruction and overview scanning in OB/GYN and abdomen for students using phantoms and live models.
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS-certified in OB/GYN and Abdomen and/or ARRT sonography with comparable clinical experience;
- 2 years of experience as a certified sonographer;
- Demonstrated experience working and fostering an environment of professionalism respect and civility with a population of faculty staff and students from various backgrounds and experiences or a commitment to do so as an adjunct faculty member at VCU.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience.
