Key Responsibilities:
As an Associate Veterinarian you will:
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests on a wide range of animals.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans for patients.
- Perform surgical procedures as needed.
- Administer vaccinations and preventive care.
- Consult with clients regarding their pets health provide education and discuss treatment options.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in California (or have the ability to obtain licensure).
- Have a compassionate and patient-centered approach to working with both animals and clients.
- Be a team player who can also work independently.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate clients and collaborate with the team.
