Job Title: Senior SAP Automation Engineer (Remote)
Location: Dallas TX or Conshohocken PA
Duration: 6-9 Months
Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Automation Engineer to join the Enterprise Automation Team at the Client. This is a remote contract role ideally based near Dallas TX or Conshohocken PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP test automation specifically with S/4HANA and Tosca and will serve as a subject matter expert driving automation initiative for major transformation projects.
This role will focus on enhancing automation coverage for critical business processes across SAP platforms while collaborating closely with engineering and QA teams. The candidate must be adept in defining and implementing automated test strategies and building scalable test frameworks.

This role will focus on enhancing automation coverage for critical business processes across SAP platforms while collaborating closely with engineering and QA teams. The candidate must be adept in defining and implementing automated test strategies and building scalable test frameworks.
Must-Haves:
- 10 years of experience in test automation with at least 6 years in a senior or lead role
- 6 years of hands-on Tosca automation and 3 years of direct SAP ECC/S/4HANA experience
- Strong experience in API automation using Tosca or Rest Assured
- Proven experience supporting S/4HANA transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps tools such as Jira ADO and test management tools like qTest
Responsibilities:
- Design build and implement scalable test automation solutions using Tosca for SAP ECC and S/4HANA
- Lead the migration of SAP ECC test automation to the S/4HANA platform
- Collaborate with development QA and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins ADO)
- Conduct API testing using tools like Rest Assured Postman and SOAP UI
- Maintain test environments and manage automation test data
- Report on test results and automation coverage to leadership and stakeholders
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Tosca for UI and API test automation
- Deep understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA architecture and testing requirements
- Experience with tools such as Jira Azure DevOps (ADO) qTest ALM
- Ability to manage test environments and data for large-scale SAP projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Certifications:
- Tosca certification preferred
- SAP-related certifications are a plus
Required Years of Experience:
- 10 years in test automation
- 6 years in a senior/lead capacity
- 3 years SAP hands-on experience
Required Education:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related technical field.
