You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailGundersen Palmer Lutheran is seeking a 1.0 FTE Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Emergency Medicine group. Gundersen Palmer is a Critical Access Hospital that offers comprehensive care with a total of 25 beds. The hospital features a 7-bed Emergency Department with additional capacity for overflow patients. It includes a 20-bed Medical Surgical Department to support a wide range of inpatient needs as well as a 5-bed Labor & Delivery unit dedicated to maternal and newborn care. Gundersen Palmer also operates three Family Practice Clinics that provide primary care services including Behavioral Health support. Additionally the hospital extends its reach through multiple outreach specialty services enhancing access to specialized care for the community. This integrated approach allows Gundersen Palmer to deliver high-quality patient-centered care across a variety of clinical needs. Our critical access hospitals are supported by our level ll Trauma Center with medical management of both ground and air emergency transport. Priority given to candidates who have completed fellowship and/or certification of advanced qualification in Emergency Medicine with comfort in seeing patients of all ages: pediatrics and adults but all candidates interested in professional growth will be considered. Candidates should be comfortable and proficient with bedside and advanced emergency procedures such as advanced airway techniques orthopedic reductions laceration repairs incision & drainage etc. The physicians Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners are dedicated and willing to train motivated candidates. Full-time practice consists of six 24-hour shifts per month.
