Key Responsibilities:
- Manage audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients with a strong emphasis on investment companies venture capital and private equity funds.
- Lead client communications ensuring clear expectations quality delivery and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff contributing to a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients while identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value.
What Were Looking For:
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in good standing Required.
- Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience with a strong background in audit.
- Demonstrated experience auditing investment firms including PE and VC funds Required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a Big 4 national or large regional accounting firm.
- Familiarity with audits for middle-market technology government and/or nonprofit clients.
