Job Description
This Medical Assistant position requires a minimum of two years of experience and involves providing clinical support in an outpatient facility. The role includes assisting with patient care administrative tasks and may require floating to meet facility needs within the scope of the Medical Assistants skillset. Reliable transportation is required.
- Performing clinical duties within the scope of practice for a Medical Assistant.
- Performing administrative tasks such as answering phones directing calls and data entry.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment.
- Assisting with patient registration activities.
- Coordinating equipment and supply needs.
- Reporting changes in patient condition to licensed professionals.
- Floating to different areas of the facility as needed based on skillset.
- Strong clinical background.
- Current BLS certification.
- Reliable transportation.
- Active Medical Assistant license (CMA or MA-R).
- Experience with vents/trachs/PICC lines.
- First-timers are accepted.
- Weekend work is not required.
- On-call duties are not required.
- Pending licenses are accepted.
- RTO restrictions should be confirmed with the hiring manager.
- Three interview times (including time zone) must be provided and confirmed with the candidate.
- Specific shift assignments will be determined by the facility.
