Job Description
Title: Sr. Oracle Developer
Location: Alpharetta GA (5 Days Onsite)
Type: Contract W2 only
Experience: 8 Years
About your role:
You will play a crucial role in our mission to streamline financial services through technology. This role is integral to designing developing and deploying sophisticated database structures and processes. Whether working independently or collaborating with cross-functional teams a successful Senior Oracle Developer ensures our solutions are efficient secure and align perfectly with the dynamic needs of our clients in the financial sector.
What youll do:
- Design develop test and deploy new schemas tables procedures and scheduling in Oracle.
- Automate data loads end to end including scripting on AIX/Linux.
- Develop and integrate software applications using suitable development methodologies and standards.
- Apply standard architectural patterns and ensure critical performance characteristics and security measures.
- Resolve customer complaints with data and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
- Assist or lead in the development of integration technical documentation.
Experience youll need to have:
- 7 years of Oracle development experience.
- 7 years of scripting experience on AIX/Linux.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL.
- Experience with database schema object management data modelling & architecture.
- Extensive working knowledge of Unix/Linux/AIX and Shell script.
- Proficient in source-code control using any tool available in the market.
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Experience working in an onshore-offshore model.
- Experience working in the Finance/Banking industry.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies tools and processes.
