Job Description
Travel Radiology/X Ray Tech (Contract Role)
Location: Erie PA 16550
Duration: 13-week contract
Shift: 8-hr Variable shift
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $2160 $2320 (Based on experience Negotiable)
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations (X-rays) accurately and efficiently according to physician orders and department protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures explain processes clearly and ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging.
- Position patients and equipment appropriately to obtain the best possible images.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment adhering to safety standards and infection control protocols.
- Review images for clarity and quality repeating procedures as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies procedures and safety guidelines.
- Comply with HIPAA and other regulatory standards regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or equivalent certification required.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Radiology/X-Ray Technologist.
- Knowledge of radiographic techniques anatomy and patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
