About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Full-time Editor with a strong background in technology and cryptocurrency blockchain and finance settings. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3-6 years of editorial experience in the field and a proven track record of delivering breaking news with a focus on cryptocurrency and blockchain.
What you will deliver:
- Editing: Edit the breaking news articles of approximately 400 words ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information.
- Innovative Ideas: Pitch innovative story ideas that resonate with the latest trends in Cryptocurrency and. Blockchain.
- Team Management: Maintain a team of well-established authors with expertise in the tech industry.
- Source Development: Develop and maintain sources within the AI and tech community to gain insights and tips for exclusive scoops.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to collaborate on news tips brainstorm ideas and ensure comprehensive industry coverage.
- Content Accuracy: Ensure all content is accurate clear and consistent with our publication standards.
- Research and Fact-Checking: Conduct thorough research fact-check information and source reliable data to support news stories.
Must Haves for the Role:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of editorial experience in journalism with a focus on technology and AI.
- Full-time Commitment: Ability and willingness to contribute as a Full-timer.
- WordPress: Experience with WordPress and CMS.
- Research: Hands-on experience in reporting on AI from a research standpoint with an in-depth understanding of the field.
- Editing: Exceptional editing skills with the ability to edit clear concise and engaging content.
- Networking: Strong network within the cryptocurrency and blockchain sectors to develop reliable sources.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with a team and share ideas for industry-leading coverage.
- Accuracy: Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and reliability of content.
