The Challenge:
Our client is seeking a visionary Commercialization Solutions Architect to lead the CRM and commercialization platform strategy within the IT Digital organization. You will own the architecture and platform strategy across Salesforce Veeva and related technologies driving seamless integration with enterprise systems and enabling field and home-office teams to deliver exceptional experiences. You will report to the VP Enterprise Digital Solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Vision & Strategy
Define and promote the long-term vision for Salesforce Health Cloud Veeva CRM and related technologies.
Translate the companys ambition into architectural principles and a multi-year roadmap balancing innovation compliance and scalability.
Technical Leadership
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of architects developers and admins.
Own decisions around solution architecture DevSecOps integration and data governance.
Promote best practices in low-code/pro-code development CI/CD pipelines and automated QA.
Commercial & Field Medical Excellence
Collaborate with business teams to deliver robust user-centric solutions.
Integrate disparate systems to create intelligent streamlined workflows.
Integration & Data Management
Oversee data integrations with ERP pharmacovigilance MDM learning systems and more.
Ensure data consistency and interoperability with platforms like Snowflake AWS Reltio and Veeva Vault.
Compliance & Security
Embed privacy-by-design and audit-ready protocols into all releases.
Manage change control and ensure compliance with GxP and GDPR.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a liaison between business leaders and technical teams within IT Digital space.
Create compelling presentations and demos to drive adoption and alignment.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Pilot emerging technologies (e.g. Salesforce Einstein Data Cloud).
Promote citizen development and communities of practice through a hub-and-spoke model.
Optimize platform costs and performance.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Education & Experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
12 15 years of CRM architecture and platform leadership experience in life sciences (biotech pharma or consulting).
8 years in life sciences commercial organizations in roles such as Application Manager System Admin or Business Analyst.
5 years of experience with Salesforce and/or Veeva CRM is essential.
Certifications (Preferred)
Salesforce Application/System Architect
Veeva CRM Advanced Admin
Skills & Knowledge
Expertise in Salesforce multi-cloud implementations (Health Cloud Service Cloud Experience Cloud).
Proficiency in API-first integration and middleware platforms like Mulesoft and Informatica.
Strong background in DevSecOps GitLab CI/CD Copado Tricentis and automated testing.
Deep understanding of commercial workflows (MSL planning KOL engagement scientific exchange).
Familiarity with global compliance frameworks (21 CFR Part 11 GDPR).
Experience in European pharma markets and oncology launches is a plus.
Strong interpersonal leadership and analytical skills.
