Job Description
Role: SAP Procurement Data Migration Lead
Location: Phoenix AZ (Onsite)
Type: Contract
Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced SAP Procurement Data Lead to oversee the migration of data from multiple legacy systems to SAP ECC.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Procurement processes and tables data migration strategies SAP tools (including LSMW) and team management.
- This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams and leading a team of data business analysts to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the data migration process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Migration Strategy: Develop and implement data migration strategies including data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes.
- Data Mapping: Design and execute data mapping processes to ensure accurate data transfer.
- Project Management: Lead and manage data migration projects ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a large team of data business analysts providing guidance and support.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with migration goals.
- Data Quality: Perform data cleansing validation and quality checks to ensure data integrity.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data migration processes and procedures.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of data migration processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Post-Migration Support: Provide post-migration support and troubleshooting as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in data migration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP ECC LSMW data mapping ETL tools and data migration methodologies.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and leading teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Certifications: SAP certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with multiple legacy systems and complex data migration projects.
- Cross-functional skills and experience in collaborating with diverse teams.
