As a Paid Ad Copywriter you will be responsible for creating compelling and effective ad copy specifically for paid digital channels such as Google Responsive Search Ads Meta LinkedIn and TikTok. This role is distinct from a general digital copywriter as it focuses on driving clicks conversions and applications through short-form content with limited character counts. You must be adept at quickly adapting your writing style to fit different platforms character limits and audience expectations ensuring high compliance with ad policies and minimizing disapproval risks. The Digital Copywriter must be unafraid of tight deadlines and high workloads writing and researching for multiple clients daily.
This role will sit within the Digital Media team and work to ensure recruiting marketing campaigns (PPC & SEM) and all paid media content is optimized. Youll constantly push the limits of the copywriting to change the way companies and candidates connect.
Qualifications :
Responsibilities:
Drive clicks conversions and applications through engaging ad copy.
Create short-form content tailored to paid platforms like Google Ads RSA Meta LinkedIn and TikTok.
Measure success through CTR conversion rates and cost-per-acquisition.
Adapt writing style frequently is based on A/B testing and platform shifts.
Ensure high compliance with ad policies and minimize disapproval risks.
Collaborate with the digital and sales teams and other stakeholders on digital copy projects.
Receive and implement feedback on copy effectively.
Handle tight deadlines frequent iterations and last-minute changes from stakeholders.
Write ads for recruitment marketing or talent acquisition turning job requirements and employer value propositions into compelling candidate-focused ads.
Experience & Skills:
At least 1-2 years of experience in SEO content writing and SEM marketing with samples required.
Exceptional knowledge of Google Ads products and other SEO tools (SEMrush).
Strategic minded with strong analytical capability.
In-depth research skills with the ability to understand topics audience segmentation and keyword strategy.
Ability to write interesting and engaging content.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal project managers and stakeholders.
Data-driven and analytical thinking skills.
Extremely organized and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Curious quick to learn and receptive to constructive criticism.
Highly methodical accurate and determined.
Excellent analytical skills (Google Analytics SEO SEM).
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Recruitment marketing / HR technology experience beneficial.
