We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Controls Manager PMO to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our Project Management Office (PMO) you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing project controls across multiple large-scale initiatives ensuring successful project delivery within scope time and budget constraints.
- Develop and implement project control systems processes and procedures to enhance project performance and reporting
- Lead the project controls team providing guidance and mentorship to team members
- Establish and maintain project baselines including scope schedule and cost
- Conduct regular project performance analysis and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management
- Identify and mitigate project risks developing contingency plans as needed
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives
- Oversee the development and maintenance of project schedules cost estimates and forecasts
- Implement earned value management techniques to track project progress and performance
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and business practices in Saudi Arabia
- Continuously improve project control methodologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or related field
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required
- Additional certifications in project controls or related areas
- Minimum 10 -15 years of experience in project controls or related field with a focus on large-scale projects
- Proven experience in managing project controls teams and processes
- Advanced proficiency in project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project Primavera P6)
- Strong skills in data analysis cost control budgeting and schedule management
- Expertise in risk management and performance measurement techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience working in the Middle East preferably in Saudi Arabia
- Knowledge of local regulations and business practices in Saudi Arabia
- Familiarity with construction or engineering industry practices
- Understanding of contract management and procurement processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
