Job Description

San Marcos Academy invites applications for a Night Proctor for Residence Hall. This is an excellent position for men or women seeking to work in a Christian environment that will allow for professional and spiritual growth. The position involves working with 6th-12th grade boys and girls through the night time hours. This position is for 3-4 nights a week. The shift is from 11:00pm-7:00am.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as a role model in actions language and dress
  • Monitoring and provide support for students
  • Responding to any need that arises
  • Some clerical work
  • Making sure that students get up when scheduled
  • Documentation
  • Communicating events of the shift to relief
  • Provide support for dormitory supervisors
  • Monitor and provide support for students

Compensation: $12.50/hr. On campus housing and other amenities negotiable.


Job Perks: Shifts are not assigned during Thanksgiving week Christmas Break and Spring Break.


Start Date: August 2025


Requirements
  • A Christian testimony
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision
  • Experience working with youth
  • Ability to supervise a diverse group of young people
  • High standard of behavior and moral conduct
