Senior Investment Associate
Join our Portfolio Advisory team serving ultra-high-net-worth clients. As a Senior Investment Associate youll play a key role in delivering proactive high-touch investment support and client service. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented analytical professional with a strong foundation in investments and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare timely and accurate portfolio reviews and market outlook materials.
- Communicate directly with clients and internal partners on behalf of Portfolio Advisors.
- Develop expertise in Northern Trusts investment philosophy platform and toolsincluding Goals Driven Wealth Management.
- Support investment planning and modeling; provide technical guidance to the team.
- Monitor market trends and share relevant insights with advisors.
- Manage compliance-related tasks and follow-ups.
- Contribute to special projects and team initiatives.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of financial markets investment products and portfolio construction.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills; able to simplify complex concepts.
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficient in MS Office especially Excel (macros pivot tables VLOOKUP charting).
Experience
- 3 years in financial services or relevant experience.
- Bachelors degree in finance economics business or related field is preferred
- Preference towards candidates pursuing a CFA CFP or other professional designation.
