This is an office-based position and for the effective performance of this role the duties and responsibilities must be carried out onsite.

Senior Investment Associate

Join our Portfolio Advisory team serving ultra-high-net-worth clients. As a Senior Investment Associate youll play a key role in delivering proactive high-touch investment support and client service. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented analytical professional with a strong foundation in investments and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare timely and accurate portfolio reviews and market outlook materials.
  • Communicate directly with clients and internal partners on behalf of Portfolio Advisors.
  • Develop expertise in Northern Trusts investment philosophy platform and toolsincluding Goals Driven Wealth Management.
  • Support investment planning and modeling; provide technical guidance to the team.
  • Monitor market trends and share relevant insights with advisors.
  • Manage compliance-related tasks and follow-ups.
  • Contribute to special projects and team initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of financial markets investment products and portfolio construction.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to simplify complex concepts.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficient in MS Office especially Excel (macros pivot tables VLOOKUP charting).

Experience

  • 3 years in financial services or relevant experience.
  • Bachelors degree in finance economics business or related field is preferred
  • Preference towards candidates pursuing a CFA CFP or other professional designation.
