Software Engineer Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
Type: Full-Time SaaS Organization-Community Banking

We are seeking a Software Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems writing clean and secure code and contributing to mission-critical systems. Youll be working in a collaborative Agile environment focused on delivering secure and user-friendly authentication and authorization services.
What Youll Do
- Design code test and debug high-quality software especially around identity and access management services.
- Take ownership of large-scale projects or entire product rollouts.
- Maintain and document program changes in complex sections of major CSI applications.
- Apply imagination and ingenuity to solve programming challenges with high standards.
- Contribute to and enforce coding standards and best practices across the team.
- Write technical specifications evaluate risks and help shape architectural decisions.
- Champion Agile CI/CD and modern development practices.
- Coach and mentor less experienced engineers promoting team growth.
- Proactively investigate issues and drive solutions with thought leadership.
Your Background
- Proficient in C# and .NET Core / .NET 8 especially for API and middleware development.
- Strong experience with OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect and SAML protocols.
- Solid knowledge of token-based authentication flows (Authorization Code Flow with PKCE Client Credentials Refresh Tokens).
- Familiar with claims-based identity systems and federated identity providers like Azure AD Okta or others.
- Deep understanding of modern web security best practices (e.g. CORS CSRF XSS).
- Experienced with the Core middleware pipeline and custom auth handlers.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams and contributing to CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiar with Git-based workflows and automated deployment practices.
Priority for those with: Experience with Duende IdentityServer or prior IdentityServer4 work.
