Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and hands-onHRIT Architect to play a key role in the ongoing evolution of our global HR technology ecosystem. This role will have astrong focus on Payroll systems and processes while also supporting broader HRIT initiatives across Core HCM Compensation Benefits Time Tracking and Absence. The ideal candidate will bring deep Workday expertise a passion forAI and automation and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance efficiency compliance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead theconfiguration optimization and support of Payroll systems while also contributing to other Workday modules such asCore HCMCompensationBenefitsTime Trackingand Absence.
- Act as aWorkday subject matter expert especially in Payroll Compensation and Benefits supporting full-cycle development configuration and deployment.
- Drive theadoption of AI and automationto streamline HR operations reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy and compliance.
- Conductdata analysis rationalization and cleanupto ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data across systems.
- Prepare and maintainHRIT process flows procedures and job aidsto support operational excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with HR Finance IT COEs and external vendors to ensure seamless integration data integrity and alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor service delivery queues respond to inquiries and proactively troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Lead and supportsystem upgrades testing cycles and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Enable and build effectiveWorkday dashboards and analyticsto support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls includingSOX regulations and support internal and external audit requirements.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experiencein HRIT or HR technology roles with at least3 years of hands-on Workday experience includingPayrolland other modules. Experience withWorkday Extendis a strong plus.
- Proven experience implementing or supportingAI-driven or automated solutionswithin HR or Payroll environments.
- Strong understanding ofglobal payroll processes compliance requirements and third-party vendor integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities in a global matrixed environment.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong sense of ownership initiative and accountability with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
