Overlooking picturesque Smythe Lake Aegis Karalee includes a host of amenities including lounge areas where residents and guests can mingle in a relaxed and social wordKaraleeis an Aboriginal word meaning waterhole near grass which was sourced from the National Library of Australia. About You
You should ideally be an empathetic person who has:
A positive and friendly personality with a passion for assisting our Residents to maintain their quality of life.
The ability to engage with team members other professionals and a wide range of people with both a high level of verbal and written communication.
The capacity to inspire trust and enjoys interacting with the elderly.
A focus on delivering excellent customer service to Residents their families and other external parties.
Flexibility and can be available on short notice for varied shifts across all days the week.
The role will be centred around providing a high-quality lifestyle for Residents that aligns with individual Resident choices and best practice. You will be making a real impact on Residents lives by providing respectful and safe assistance with:
Daily and meaningful activities.
Medication administration.
Mealtimes in line with Aegis Excellence in Dining strategy.
You will need to have:
A certificate III in Aged Care (or higher/equivalent).
Full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
Flexible availability
Preferably someone living in metro area.
Should have your own car and driving license.
